C. Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering and Technology is managed and maintained by the Melvisharam Muslim Educational Society (MMES). The society was established by late Nawab C. Abdul Hakeem, a leading business magnet, renowned philanthropist and nationalist of his day, in the year 1918. He was the Founder President of the Society. This C. Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering and Technology was established in 1998 in an area of 44 acres on the eastern outskirts of Melvisharam town, on Chennai-Bangalore national highway. This institution is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.
